License change management

Modified on Wed, 19 Mar at 4:03 PM

When managing your user licenses, it's important to know that any reduction in your license count will only take effect upon your renewal date (either monthly or annually). This ensures that your current setup remains stable and uninterrupted until the renewal period.

When reducing your licenses, you will, therefore, not see the license count update immediately, but rather when your subscription renews.

There are two contract options within Skynamo that impact your renewal date.

Annual Upfront Contract:

Opting for an annual upfront contract allows you to benefit from a discounted fees. You pay for the entire year in advance, securing your subscription at a lower rate. This means your contract renews annually.

Month-to-Month Contract:

With a month-to-month contract, you have the flexibility to make changes to your license count for the upcoming month. This option allows you to pay on a monthly basis, providing greater adaptability to your changing needs.

Choosing the right contract option depends on your organization's budget and flexibility requirements. The annual upfront contract is ideal for those looking to save on costs and commit to a stable license count for the year. On the other hand, the month-to-month contract is perfect for those who anticipate frequent changes and prefer a more flexible payment structure.

You can always check your upcoming changes under your Manage Subscription page.

- Click on Manage Subscription -> Manage subscription:

- Click on your subscription at the top:

- Click on View scheduled changes:

- This will show you your updated billing that will be applied upon your next renewal:
