Creating your Skynamo instance

Modified on Mon, 14 Apr at 4:25 PM

When you sign up for Skynamo, you will receive a welcome email for your Subscription Management portal. This portal allows you to manage your billing, update your account information, download invoices, add and assign users to instances, and more. Additionally, this is where you will create your Skynamo instance, which is your company's unique version of Skynamo with its own URL.

When you receive your Welcome email, click on the blue Set up my password button and choose a unique password for Skynamo.

Once you have done so, click on Back to Skynamo or navigate to app.skynamo.me

Fill in your email address and click Continue:

Enter the Skynamo password that you created and click Continue again:

In the left-hand menu, select Manage Instances and click on Create your first instance:

Choose your desired instance name. This should be your company's name and will be your unique Skynamo URL. Because it will be your URL, it needs to be all lowercase and have no spaces. For example, if your company's name was "Basil Chocolates Deluxe", you could make your instance name "basilchocolatesdeluxe"

Please note, your instance cannot be renamed once it is saved.

At this point, you can also choose to enable multi-factor authentication, which would require your users to have an extra verification method (besides their password), before being able to log in.

You can then click on Create instance:

The system will then start building your instance!

While this runs, you can start adding users to your instance: How to add new users
