Getting Started with Sync on Skynamo

This tutorial walks you through the basic steps to ensure your Skynamo app meets the minimum requirements for it to sync.

Step 1: Check Your Internet Connection

Make sure your device is connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi. Skynamo requires an active internet connection to sync data with the server.

Step 2: Ensure You Have Enough Storage

Verify that your device has at least 10% of its total storage free. Low storage can prevent syncing and may cause app or device crashes.

Step 3: Avoid Cloning the App

If you’ve moved to a new device, install Skynamo fresh from the App Store instead of cloning it. Cloning can cause sync issues due to unchanged device IDs.

Troubleshooting Sync Issues on Skynamo

Follow these steps if your Skynamo app isn’t syncing properly.

1. Verify Internet Access

  • Open a browser and try loading a webpage.
  • Switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi to test connectivity.

2. Check Device Storage

  • Go to your device settings.
  • Ensure at least 10% of total storage is free.
  • Delete unused apps or files if needed.

3. Reinstall Skynamo if Cloned

  • Uninstall the Skynamo app.
  • Download and install it fresh from the App Store.
  • Log in again and allow a full sync to complete.

Why Device-Related Sync Issues Occur in Skynamo

Sync issues are common and usually stem from one of three causes:

  1. No Internet Connection: Skynamo can operate offline, but syncing requires an active connection.
  2. Low Device Storage: Insufficient storage can block data from syncing or cause app instability.
  3. App Cloning: Cloning apps during device migration retains the old device ID, which can confuse the sync process and lead to incomplete data transfers.
