This article will show you how to set up your device and log into Skynamo on your iOS device. If you haven't managed to download Skynamo please see how to download Skynamo here: Installing/Updating Skynamo - iOS
To set up your device:
- Check your internet connection:
- Please ensure you have Wi-Fi connection or that your mobile data is turned on.
- Mobile Data (on) / Wi-Fi (on)
- If you are not in a Wi-Fi zone you can switch this off if you know you do have Mobile data
- Check that the Airplane mode is turned “off”
- Please check that battery Low Power Mode is turned off:
Settings > Battery > Switch Low power mode OFF
- Ensure your time settings are set to 24-hour time (not 12-hour time):
- Settings> General > Date and Time > 24-hour time
- Ensure that your device's software is up to date:
Settings > General > Software update > Download and install (if an update is available):
- Check that your device has sufficient storage space. You will need at least 15% of available storage space:
Settings > General > IPad/iPhone storage > Ensure at least 15% of space is Available:
- Ensure background app refresh is switched on:
Settings > General > Background app refresh > Ensure that it is on and that it is switched on for Skynamo:
- Ensure Skynamo settings are correct:
- Settings > Skynamo > Location on Always
- Settings > Skynamo > Motion and Fitness ON
- Settings > Skynamo > Background app refresh ON
- Ensure that your location settings are correct:
In the left-hand view, go to Privacy and Security and make sure your Location Services has been switched on and that your Tracking has been enabled:
In the left-hand view, click on Maps. Make sure your Location is enabled and that your Background App Refresh is on:
VERY IMPORTANT: Once you have performed the above checks, please restart your device to ensure all changes are being implemented.
To log into Skynamo:
- After the app is downloaded navigate to your device's main screen, and click on the Skynamo icon to open the app.
- On the first login screen, type in the email address associated with your Skynamo account. You can find this information in the Welcome email that was sent to you.
- On the second login page, enter your organization name. Your organization name will also be provided in your Welcome email. Then click on Continue.
- On the third login page, your email address should be pre-filled in. Enter the password that you have set-up for yourself, then click Continue.
- Once you have signed in, select the “Start my day” button:
- Select the settings gear in the top right corner of the screen:
- Then, under the Network Status section select Synchronize now to initiate the synchronization of all your data. The progress bar will indicate the progress of the download:
Skynamo will now download all your data to your device!
The initial sync is usually quite large, so please leave your device on charge and connected to a strong internet connection until the sync is completed. You would see it forms a little pie chart that needs to be filled up completely.
DISCLAIMER: You will need to fully complete this initial sync before you will be able to view your customers or any other information on your Skynamo app. Please also make sure the sync is completed before you start to do any work otherwise your sync might get stuck.
You can also force a sync anytime by clicking Synchronize now.
