List of Recommended Devices for mSeller
mSeller iPad & mSeller Mini are only compatible with Apple devices on iOS
This article lists the minimum and recommended Apple hardware and software for running mSeller. Use it as a lookup when installing mSeller, troubleshooting installation problems, or procuring devices for a sales team.
If your device does not meet the minimum requirements listed below, mSeller will not install, will fail to update, or will run with degraded functionality.
Why these requirements exist
To comply with Apple's App Store conformity rules and to maintain security, recent mSeller releases (iPad v14.4.47 and iPhone v5.5.2 (3) onward) are built against the latest Xcode development libraries. As a result, older Apple operating systems and devices are no longer supported.
This is a baseline reference. It does not cover installation steps, troubleshooting, or rollout planning — those are documented separately.
Minimum software requirements
| Platform | Minimum OS |
|---|---|
| iPhone | iOS 17 or later |
| iPad | iPadOS 17 or later |
Devices running any earlier version of iOS or iPadOS are not supported and cannot install the current mSeller app.

What happens on unsupported devices
If a device falls below the minimum requirements, you may see one or more of the following:
- The mSeller app will not install from the App Store.
- An existing installation will not update to the current release.
- The app may launch but show reduced performance or limited functionality.
- Features that depend on current iOS APIs may be unavailable.
Recommended action if your device is unsupported
- Update the device to the latest available version of iOS or iPadOS via Settings → General → Software Update.
- If the device cannot update to iOS 17 / iPadOS 17, it is hardware-incompatible and must be replaced with a supported model listed above.
- For fleet deployments, IT administrators should procure devices from the Recommended hardware list rather than the minimum list, to extend the useful life of the deployment.
