Deactivating and replacing users

When deactivating and replacing users there are a few things to keep in mind. The users are assigned to customers, and the customers can have a visit frequency allocated to them. The following steps will help you to easily do this change over process.

 

Start by going to the customer list, and filtering by the user you want to replace:

You can now click on the “download all” option to download this user’s customer list.

You will now have the user’s full customer list ready for you to make changes to. Save the sheet in a place you can easily access again.

Search and deactivate the user you will be replacing, by selecting the “Deactivate user” option on the right-hand side.

Add the new user who will be joining your team on Skynamo:

Once you have added your new user, return to the Excel spreadsheet with the downloaded customers.

Use the Find & Replace function by holding down the control button and pressing "F" on your keyboard and replace the deactivated user with the new user details.

Once you have replaced the names, save the Excel sheet in a place you can easily find it again.

Return to Skynamo to import the new details.

 

Navigate to your settings page, and select your Imports option.

Choose Import customers:

Browse and find the correct file and select “File Select” to import your changes:

If there are visit frequencies assigned, you can also easily replace and update them for the new user.

Go to your settings, and navigate to Import visit frequencies.

Click on Download all to download your current visit frequencies and open your Excel sheet.

Use your find and replace function here as well, and replace the old user with the new user. Save the Excel where you can easily find it again.

Browse and find the Excel you saved, and import the changes to Skynamo.
