This article contains the two different ways to reset your password for Skynamo.
Firstly the method via the Mobile App and the secondly via Web Interface.
Via Field App:
On mobile devices, once you opened the Skynamo app - you may be presented with the below screen:
Please enter your company name. Then select the "Click Here" link beneath Forgot your password / username:
You will be presented with a website requesting your email address to reset your password.
Please input your company email address and "Submit" the request.
Please note: When entering your email address, please make sure there is no space added to the end of the address.
You should receive a similar confirmation to the one below:
You will receive an email similar to the one below from where you may select "Reset password" :
You will then be taken to a webpage where you can enter a password of your choice in the relevant field. Please take note of your username and company name as shown on the page.
Submit the password reset request.
DO NOT CLICK ON THE ‘LOG IN’ LINK THAT APPEARS!
Navigate to the Skynamo application.
Use the company name, username and your new password to login to the app:
Via the Web Interface:
On Skynamo web there are three different options to reset a password:
- Reset your own password when logged out.
- Reset your own password when logged in.
- Reset a user’s password when logged in (for Account Managers).
All three will link back to the "Reset Password Email steps" at the end of this doc.
Reset your own password when logged out:
Click on the "Forgot your username / password?" link as indicated below in red:
Type in your registered e-mail address and click on "Submit"
You will then receive an email to reset your password through the steps in Reset Password Email steps
Reset your own password while logged in:
On Skynamo you can reset your password using the Web interface. If you are logged in, click on your name at the top right of your screen, and click on Settings:
You will see your own details, as well as the “Reset password” button which you will use to reset your password.
Once you have clicked on the Reset password button, it will give you the following message.
Please make sure the e-mail address displayed is correct before clicking confirm, as this will send an email to this address prompting you to reset your password.
You will then receive an email to reset your password through the steps in Reset Password Email steps
Reset a user’s password while logged in (For Account Managers):
As an Account manager, you can also assist your users with password resets.
Navigate to your Users page and search for the user you wish to assist. Select the edit user pencil to the right of the user.
On this page you will see the blue Reset password button, and you can select this to trigger a password reset email to be sent to the user.
This will give you the same message as with your own password reset, please make sure the e-mail address is correct.
You will then receive an email to reset your password through the steps in Reset Password Email steps
Reset password email steps:
To reset your password, you will receive an email similar to the one below. Please click on the blue reset password button as shown in the red box.
You will then be taken to a webpage where you can enter a password of your choice in the relevant field. Please take note of your username and company name as shown on the page.
Press 'Submit' and your new password will be created.
You can now log in using the newly created password, and the username and company name as in the red boxes above.
